Special Notice: We have had most of our videos hosted on Blip.tv - they have ceased service & therefore many of our features have gone off-line. We are busy uploading to alternative servers so please excuse the issues, sadly, we have no staff so this will take some time. Please follow our Twitter account to be kept up to date :-)
Our budget is tiny but over the last 19 years of recording producer interviews every penny earned from ad's, photo shoots etc has gone in to gear and producing these features that we hope you will find educational and inspiring.
We think producers and recording engineers importance is often down played or misunderstood. Most people on the street that listen to music could name maybe a handful of music producers and many musicians would find it hard naming more than a dozen. We hope that these interviews will help give new talent exposure and the more established music producers can tell both amazing stories and pass on some great recording and production techniques.
Getting a record producer or engineer in front of a camera is never an easy task but as engineers ourselves we can help make it as pain free as possible! There are far less opportunities to 'be seen' and market yourself as a producer so please get in contact via our Facebook or Twitter accounts to suggest people you'd like us to feature or to put yourself forward. Some producers have reported that just by being here they have had over 10 new projects so we know that the exposure works.
If you're a producer or engineer and you'd like to be featured just ask, we will make it as easy as possible and we know that any producer doesn't enjoy having a camera pointed at them, it can be scary but no more than for an artist in front of a microphone! Best of all, it is a free service.
