Their
UK and international no. 1 singles to date:
-
They produced Tide Is High (Get The Feeling) for
Atomic Kitten and wrote the new 'get the feeling'
section.
- They co-wrote Whole Again for Atomic Kitten
and were responsible for the additional production
and remix on the international hit version. This
song won them Ivor Novello nominations in two
categories, while the single has
sold more than two million copies worldwide.
- They produced and remixed the international
hit radio version of Kiss Kiss by Holly Valance.
Other
international hits include Best In Me from the
debut Blue album which they wrote and produced,
and We've Got Tonight by Ronan Keating & Lulu
which they produced, proving to be the beginning
of a very fruitful working
relationship with both these stars.
Meanwhile,
Padley & Godfrey dedicate as much time as
possible to working with high profile new artists,
relishing the chance to shape a sound and career
in its early stages. Recent collaborations include
Jud Mahoney (DreamWorks US), Play (Columbia US),
Alexis Strum (M Records/WEA London UK), Jennifer
Ellison (East West UK), Triple 8 (Polydor UK)
and Tyler (19 management's future star).
Unlike
many leading pop producers, there is no Padley
& Godfrey 'sound' that's imposed on whichever
artists they work with. Instead, their approach
is marked by first spending the time to find out
about the artist - their
state of mind, their abilities and where they
want to be musically. Once this has been established,
their ability to fulfill the resulting brief is
second to none.
Their
technical abilities are many and varied. For example,
they are renowned experts in Pro Tools having
beta-tested the programme. On the more human side,
they are amongst the world's foremost vocal producers.
And their background in radio gives them a rare
affinity for balancing the demands of the medium
with musical and artistic requirements.
Padley
& Godfrey are sub-published worldwide by Universal
